No, I don't believe in the tooth fairy but I sure have a great story about one! It has been a tradition in the Gales household to acknowledge the parting of a baby tooth with a shiny coin or coins. At night, the toothless child places their tooth under a pillow and in the morning they find money. This has been one of only a few methods that the Gales' children use to fill their trusty piggy banks. Over the past few months, the children have been pestering their mother about the mystery person that gives them the money. Because these children are curious and smart(they take after their mother), they devised a plan to learn the true identity of the "tooth fairy". Four days ago, Noah lost a tooth. A discussion occured between Noah and Emily and a plan was hatched. Each night, Noah would place his tooth under one of his pillows. He would attempt this without his mother's knowledge and he would rotate every pillow to make sure that he used them all. This morning, a grinning Noah and a sarcastic Emily, informed their mother that the tooth fairy was a fable and that she was the one taking the tooth and leaving the cash. Their mother was amazed at her children's plan and even more amazed that she did not realize their plan. Searching for a possible "out", she evidently concided that she was indeed the "tooth fairy". After the truth came out, Noah informed his mother that he would place his tooth under a certain pillow and come morning, he expected his money. Watch out Santa Claus.
